Grief Share

GriefsharelogoGrief Share is a ministry to those who are grieving. It provides a safe place where you will find acceptance, understanding and support from those who have and are experiencing grief. The programme aims to help people walk the journey of grief and to be supported on the way. You do not have to travel alone.

“Surviving the Holidays” is a one-session course, which looks at issues facing those who have been bereaved. Suggestions of ways to deal with this time leads to discussion. This session gives a taster of the longer twelve week course.

This longer course is for anyone who has been bereaved, whether recently or some time ago. At each session we will view a DVD featuring personal stories of people who are grieving.

Some of the session topics are:

  • Living with Grief
  • The Effects of Grief
  • When Your Spouse Dies
  • Your Family and Friends
  • The Uniqueness of Grief
  • Heaven

After some refreshments there is time to join in, or just listen to discussion on the content of the DVD. There is a time to share in your own way what is going on in your grief journey, but no-one is forced to take part in discussion.
