Hold the date! Alpha ’23 will commence on 18th September 2023 in Trinity Halls.
WHAT DOES ALPHA LOOK LIKE?
No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: connect, watch and discuss.
Connect
All sessions start with a time to connect, relax and build friendships over a cup of tea or coffee. We’ll begin each evening at 7pm.
Watch
A series of 20-25-minute films unpack the basics of the Christian faith, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us? Scroll down for the full list of topics below.
Discuss
After the film comes one of the most important parts of any Alpha: your hosts will lead a small-group conversation, where you can share your thoughts about faith and life and hear from others in your group. There’s no obligation to say anything but your point of view will be welcomed, whether you come as an atheist, sceptic, agnostic or someone who’s just curious about progressing in faith. It’s an opportunity to both hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
