Time to Pray

On Sunday 30 January, the Ards Presbytery is encouraging us to set aside time to pray.

This Sunday evening, the Right Rev Dr David Bruce, Moderator of the General Assembly, will be the guest preacher at an Ards Presbytery Service in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church at 6.30pm.

If you would like to attend this service, please click on this link: www.hrpc.org.uk/presbyteryservice22. Alternatively, you may phone the Hamilton Road church office on 028 9147 3213 to book.

It will also be possible to watch the LiveStream of the service on Hamilton Road’s YouTube channel – please click on this link: https://www.youtube.com/user/hrpcbangor/featured.

An hour to pray…

Maybe you can set aside an hour either before or after the Presbytery service to pray.

As Christians, we believe in the power of prayer and, as we continue together through the next phase of the pandemic, it is important that we seek God:

  • focusing on who He is and what He has achieved for us through Jesus
  • asking for His guidance and the power of the Holy Spirit
  • thanking Him for his presence
  • praying for those we love and know who have been through so much
  • praying for our community
  • praying for blessing
  • praying that we will be a positive influence for the Gospel in the world
